The Irish Angle Review

Brought to you by Jim, The Irish Angle is an email and text tipster system users can subscribe to for Irish horse racing tips.

What is the product?

The Irish Angle draws on all of Jim’s alleged contacts in the world of Irish horse racing to provide opportunities that Jim believes to be “certain”. Jim’s alleged contacts cover a huge variety of players in the horse racing game, something that Jim claims to have been a part of for most of his adult life. He claims that his tipping sources range from valets and stable hands right up to trainers and owners.

Tips themselves are usually presented on the day around 2-3 hours before the start of the race. On occasion Jim says that he will also text out last minute tips to his subscribers, these are usually high odd tips according to him. The Irish Angle does not provide a tip every day as it is all dependent on the amount of information available at the time.

What is the investment vs. the rate of return?

The Irish Angle sells for £50 per month although users can bring down the subscription costs by opting to purchase a year’s subscription for £450. This in essence provides 3 months of free subscription. Unfortunately there is no money back guarantee or trial period which given the lack of information on Jim’s system is a little unnerving. In terms of return rates, there aren’t any listed. There are some results which are rather hit and miss but these only go back to September. There is also a lack of information about all the usual kinds of things that a betting service should provide such as ROI or strike rate.

Does the product provide value for money?

I am of the opinion that The Irish Angle does not offer value for money. £50 is a lot of money to pay for a tipping service that seems to have come out of nowhere. Jim suggests that he has worked with his network and providing tips for a long time but there is no evidence of this so it has to be taken with a pinch of salt.

Conclusion

I am of the firm belief that there are better products out there than The Irish Angle. Blooded subscription services that can back up their claims with solid results and show that these results are consistent. It isn’t even as if The Irish Angle massively undercuts its rivals to present itself as a potentially risky proposition. This puts it at a huge disadvantage and leads me to conclude that I would be looking elsewhere for my tips.
